Same day voter registration goes into effect this year. That means eligible voters can still cast their ballot in person on election day — even if you missed the registration deadline — as long as they bring a valid ID and proof of residency, such as a utility bill.

“I am a democrat because I believe in cultivating inclusion, promoting equality for all, respecting differing voices, and working together to find solutions.” - Mark Chambers

Mark is a 5th generation Utahn running to represent Utah State Senate District 28.  He believes that all Utah citizens deserve to be treated fairly and equally, and that if we can overcome our differences then we can work together to make Southern Utah and all of Utah a better state.  It's time to rise above the vitriol and hate in national politics and seek common ground on the issues that matter here locally.

With your support we can send Mark from Southern Utah, all the way up to Salt Lake to represent the needs and issues that are important to those of us south of the Wasatch Front.

Feel free to search the site to learn more about Mark and what he stands for, to volunteer and get involved, and to see how your donations can guarantee a victory in November.  Mark needs to visit and campaign in every county in his district and your donations help him fight for what's right!

To change everything, we need everyone. Mark marches for climate awareness

Mark joined many of his fellow democrats and voters in marching to highlight issues related to climate change.  This national event was coordinated across the country with marches happening from New York to California, and even here in Washington County.  Mark is the only candidate that supports environmental legislation that will protect this land and planet rather than seeking only to make profits from it.

Mark is fighting for respect for all, for our libraries, and for each of us to feel welcome and to have our voices heard.

"The libraries are an educational resource for the entire community, for everybody, and with this decision, they have made it into a controversial confrontation. We are better than this. We need to educate people. And that's why we have libraries."
- Mark Chambers
